Raiding Requirements per-WoTLK

For those joining Grim Legion between now and WoTLK, raiding requirements are that you are already raid geared (mostly T4+ or equivalent, gemmed, enchanted, Head Glyphs, etc.), have experience, and you work on your Praetorian rank while raiding.

If interested, fill out and application or speak to a Grim Legion officer in-game.

Dispatch from Grim Legion to Nazgrel

Nazgrel,

With the recent assault on Ogrimmar, and Warchief Thrall preparing the Horde for war, I request that the Grim Legion be transferred for duties in Northrend. While we are a free company, and I directly report to the Warchief, as his advisor I seek your consent for the troop to change its base of operations. As an elite cavalry unit of specialists and elite commandos, we would be able to relocate and scout faster than most any other group.

The Scourage and the Lich-King Arthas present to me a much more impending threat to the Horde than Ilidan--he appears to be holed up in the Black Temple, and while needs to be dealt with eventually, we should focus on the immediate and attacking threat.

Windhunter meets with Warchief Thrall and Garrosh Hellscream

Dispatch from Nazgrel to Grim Legion, posted on guild hall door,

General Windhunter,

Relocate your base of operations to Northrend immediately. At your discretion set up at either Vengeance Landing with the Forsaken and Grand Apothecary Putress or at Borean Tundra with Garrosh Hellscream. Upon initial scouting and contact with the Lich-King's forces, determine a battle plan and inform the Warchief.

If and when an opportunity presents itself, return to deal with Illidan.

Strike hard, strike fast, strike cold. Lok'tar Ogar!

Nazgrel

Inner Chambers of the Black Temple . . . and Illidan

We returned to the Betrayer's Citadel. Personally, I think Ilidan has been treated poorly by the Night Elves and the Alliance . . . but he is a danger to the Horde, and we shall never be safe in Outland until he is removed. Our war troop proceeded into the Inner Chambers and meet the distilled essence of all the souls that have been destroyed and rent by the Outland wars.

This Reliquary of Souls was finally defeated and we moved on. We came to some sort of debauched pleasure zone for the Blood Elves that have fallen under Illidan's sway, finally meeting their master, Mother Shahraz.

Mother Shahraz proved that no matter her sensual or secret arts, a good blade is far sharper and more final.

We moved on and meet Illidan's lieutenants, the Illidari Council. These misguided Blood Elves seeked to bar our progress. We attempted to negotiate and change thier minds, but such was not to be. In the end, only combat would allow us to pass.

We finally met Illidan. He seemed to be locked into such a reverie that he took no notice of our warband.

We assisted Akama in an assault on Illidan . . . we were not prepared. Fortunately, Illidan lost interest in our broken and bleeding bodies, and the Ashtongue Deathsworn were able to recover our troop and allow us to heal.

Next time, we shall be prepared . . .
